The Samson Graphite® 49 USB MIDI Controller offers most of the performance and production control you need to get the most out of your music software.
The semi-weighted keyboard gives you a platform that feels more like an instrument than a controller. The keys are velocity-sensitive so you can capture the dynamics of your performance. You have customizable control over a number of effects and parameters, like adding growl to a saxophone or vibrato to strings for example.
Equipped with Transpose and Octave buttons you are able to change the key of instruments and expand the keyboard to 4-octave range easily. Among other things Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels give you a broad range of tone manipulation and musical expression.
Taking control of your DAW and virtual instruments is easy. The Graphite 49 has 9 faders, 8 encoders and 16 function buttons. Not only can you customize these utilities you program them on-the-fly without the need for editor software. The large LCD screen displays the behavior of every function in real-time, giving you intuitive mapping no matter what software you’re using.
Take advantage of up to 4 zones on the keyboard for making splits and layering sounds. You can assign different sounds to different sections of the keyboard for a completely personalized setup. Divided into sections, you can control 2, 3 or 4 different voices simultaneously. You can record bass, string, pad and lead tones all to a single track for example, making room to get really deep on your track layers.
You’ll love the 4 large velocity-sensitive trigger pads that can be easily programmed and assigned and they are expandable to 8. Use them to tap out drum beats, cue one-shot samples or start and stop sequences.
Make music anywhere with your iPad using Apple’s iPad Camera Connection Kit or Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. Use your favorite music and synth iPad apps that support MIDI controllers and the Graphite 49 can be powered directly by the iPad when you are away from your desktop computer.
